Dr. Damon Woodard, Artificial Intelligence & Cybersecurity Advisor

Dr. Woodard currently serves as the Director of the Florida Institute for National Security (FINS), which focuses on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to various problem domains (defense, infrastructure, economic, political, ecological, and energy) that impact national security. Previously, he served as the Director of AI Partnerships for the University of Florida's Artificial Intelligence Initiative. Dr. Woodard is currently a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Florida. He is an IEEE Senior Member, an ACM Senior Member, a National Academy of Science Kavli Frontiers Fellow, and a member of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI). Dr. Woodard received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Notre Dame, and his B.S. in Computer Science and Computer Information Systems from Tulane University.

Dr. Ronald R. Yager, Computational Intelligence Advisor

A Life Fellow, IEEE, and formerly the Director of the Machine Intelligence Institute and a Professor of Information Systems with Iona College, New Rochelle, NY. He has worked in the area of machine intelligence for more than 25 years, authored/coauthored more than 500 papers and more than 30 books in areas related to fuzzy sets, decision-making under uncertainty, and the fusion of information. Dr. Yager is among the world's top 1% most highly cited researchers with about 70,000 citations. He was the recipient of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society's highly prestigious Frank Rosenblatt Award in 2016 and the IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Society 2018 Lotfi Zadeh Pioneer Award. He received his BEE in electrical engineering from The City College of New York, New York, NY, and his Ph.D. from the Polytechnic University of New York, Brooklyn, NY.
